Family Trip 2013
Saturday March 30th. Thirty two family members for Saturday night...two of Spud's chooks and three roasts. Good weather, great time, no fish that I can recall.
Liza does Whitney's hair with advice from Lottie |
Matt was in charge of cooking...and enjoying the job |
Matt and Michelle camped with the girls (Lottie, Kaiah and Lainie) - in separate tents. We were kept up at night by the giggling in one tent. Matt and Michelle promised not to do it both nights!
Lottie and Whitney gave Liza advice on braiding. In, out, around, in, out, around...
The secret to good cooking is in the detail. Get close, then closer....according to Matt.
Not allowed to reveal the onions secret. Oh, alright! Add a 1/2 glass of Boags at the critical time. Still giggling a bit from the night before
And Josh, Matt says we need 6kg of bacon rather than 3kg
What? Whaddywant? What??? |
Some of the main entrants in the indigenous art competition (Lottie, Tom, Eric, Whitney, Lainie). A local indigenous judge in the background |
Aboriginal Art on CD Discs |
An outstanding quality of entrant....Kaiah (South Gippsland tribe) was the eventual winner, in a very tight competition. Kaiah is the Cartwheel Bend Art Competition Winner (2013)
